Ordination of Jeremy Langner

Prayer Requests
This week we again remember Rev. Indra Skuja-Grislis while she mourns the loss of her mother, Gita-Helga Skuja (nee. Strazdiņa), who died in Latvia a little over two weeks ago, just one week after Indra’s father. May the comforting spirit of Christ and the caring spirit of our Synod community be with Indra and Egil and Indra’s family in Latvia during this time.

For Gimli Lutheran Church and Riverton-Hnausa Lutheran Church, who have begun a shared ministry agreement.

**NEW** Trinity Food Pantry
Christmas Dinner, noon, December 14. The food pantry continues to operate out of Trinity Place on Flora. Hampers are provided to 45 households including about 150 clients. A full turkey dinner will be served and children 13 and under will receive a Christmas gift. Donations may be made to the Trinity Food Pantry with checks made out to Grace Lutheran Church.

Luther Village Giving Challenge
The Giving Challenge 2019 has now been launched with the goal of $40,000 – which we can only reach with YOUR help! Yes, YOU! Volunteers will be reaching out by phone during their phone-a-thon days – November 18 &19 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Please click here for more information.

**NEW** Board of Trinity Lutheran Food Pantry
Seeking applicants for the position of Chairperson, to begin April 1, 2020. This person manages a core group of volunteers in providing food bank services once a month to registered clients. The food bank is held at Trinity Place (formerly Trinity Lutheran Church),
