Accessibility Standards Seminar

As of November 1, 2018, all private sector and non-profit organizations in Manitoba must comply with the Accessible Customer Service Standards. Parishes need to be aware of what this means. The Diocese of Rupert’s Land has developed an “Accessible Customer Service Policy” for the Diocesan Office. The MNO Synod will be using this document as a template for their policy. Parishes may also use this template for their own policies.

The Diocese of Rupert’s Land and the MNO Synod are offering an information seminar to learn about obligations under Accessible Customer Standards and to understand what is required for compliance by parishes before the deadline of November 2018.
