Faith in Context–Becoming Intentionally Anti-racist

February 26 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

The next Faith In Context Workshop will be on Saturday, Feb. 26 from 9:30-noon via Zoom. As part of Black History Month, Rev. Michael Blair–General Secretary of the General Council of the United Church of Canada–will guide discussion and reflection.  This workshop is encouraged as continuing education for clergy, and open to all who want to deepen their engagement with their faith as it connects to current realities.  Additional resources for learning and reflection related to Black History month, and other events being held/sponsored in partnership with the Diocese of Rupert’s Land, are available here.

Suggested reading in connection with this discussion: “How to be Antiracist” by Ibrahim X Kendi, “Is God Clourblind” by Anthony Reddie
