Faith in Context–Becoming Intentionally Anti-racist

The next Faith In Context Workshop will be on Saturday, Feb. 26 from 9:30-noon via Zoom. Understanding the Need for Reconciliation

St. Mark’s Lutheran Church is embarking on a reconciliation project with the assistance of a grant through the Acts of the MNO Synod initiative. The project includes speaker sessions in February and March with Jim Thunder of “Reconciliation Thunder” who will be leading a presentation and discussion of Canada’s colonization methods (such as the Doctrine of Discovery and the Indian Act) that have harmed Indigenous people and the role of churches in some of these methods. Small Group Leader Training–Session III

Congregational Leader Toolkit–council members
