Renewal Conference: Moving Forward

Three pastors in Winnipeg joined together to envision a learning and renewal event for congregational leaders in MNO.  The purpose of this event is to provide a space for participants to reflect together on the ways the church is changing, and imagine how God might be inviting the church into dynamic ministry in the future.  A keynote speaker with skills and experience in coaching congregations through renewal and redevelopment was invited to guide this time of learning, reflection and dialogue.  The dreaming and wondering led the pastors to apply for an ACTS of MNO grant, so that the event can be offered without cost to participants.

Moving Forward: Embracing a New Season of Hope and Vitality for the Church is a renewal conference hosted by Faith Lutheran Church, Winnipeg on the weekend of Oct. 14-15.  The event will begin with worship and time of gathering on Friday, Oct. 14, and will extend into an all-day conference on Saturday, Oct. 15.  The conference will include worship, keynote presentations, small group discussions and time for groups to huddle and dream the beginnings of plans and ideas for their congregations.

This conference is open to clergy and church staff, council members, congregational leaders, and anybody who has a heart for God’s church and is yearning for vision and inspiration as we continue to navigate all that is shifting and changing in our churches and in our communities.

The conference is free but registration is required.  More information HERE.
