Understanding the Body’s Response to Stress: The Importance of Relationships

A presentation facilitated by Ian Reedman, MSW, RSW (he/him) to examine the impact of stress and anxiety in our bodies and they ways in which our relationships are formed and informed by the ways we respond to stress.

This presentation is designed for faith leaders, and will include time for Q&A.

Ian has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Northern British Columbia and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Dalhousie University. He has a post graduate certificate in complex trauma from the Justice Institute of BC. Ian is a Registered Social Worker and is certified in a number of therapeutic modalities including post-graduate training in attachment and trauma sensitive therapies. Ian began his career working as a child protection social worker in rural BC and later worked in palliative care and mental health. He has worked as a Child and Youth Mental Health clinician for the past five years.
