Women in ministry – diaconal and ordained
Through the fall of 2018 a few women in ministry began meeting together for support, learning and socializing, hoping to bring about connections to our ministries and care for one another. You are invited to join with us as we meet on Oct 31 at 12 noon at Messiah Lutheran/St Chad’s Anglican, 400 Rouge Road in Winnipeg.
We will have some fun discussion around what we would change about the church today, playing off of Martin Luther’s act of nailing “95 theses” to the church door in the 16th C. Oct 31 marks the day for Lutherans to commemorate this action but also reminds us of divisions that have long separated the Christian church.
We would also encourage you to pass along this invitation to women in ministry you know from other denominations as well.
Bring a bag lunch. Beverages will be provided.
RSVP by Oct 29 by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
