Bus Trip Dates:

August 18-25, 2025 (note that the bus trip will spend one additional night on the way back from Saskatoon)

CLAY 2025 Gathering, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan: August 21-24, 2025

ITINERARY:

We will leave from Messiah Lutheran Church in Winnipeg on Monday, August 18.  We will spend 2 nights in the Riding Mountain National Park and western Manitoba area.  Our activities will include horseback riding, hiking, and learning about the history and culture of the area. We will have one afternoon in Clear Lake, where there will be opportunity to explore independently with your group. Our 3rd night will be spent at Camp Kinasao in Saskatchewan, before arriving in Saskatoon for CLAY.

TRAVEL: Includes bus transportation to/from all activities listed in the itinerary above.

HOUSINGaccommodations will be provided on the bus trip. We are working with CLAY organizers to provide information about making hotel reservations in Saskatoon.

MEALSmeals will be provided on the bus trip and included in the cost, except for supper on Tuesday, which will be the responsibility of the participants. Lunch on Thursday before CLAY will also be included in the cost of the bus trip.

Monday:
Lunch: leave after lunch or bring lunch to eat on the bus
Supper: provided in Erickson

Tuesday:
Breakfast: at accomodations
lunch: picnic
supper: responsibility of participants (in Clear Lake)

Wednesday:
Breakfast: at accommodations
lunch: bag lunches provided by Erickson Lutheran Church
supper: before arriving at camp Kinasao

Thursday:
breakfast: at camp
lunch: in Saskatoon before CLAY

CLAY (Thursday supper-Sunday lunch)

Sunday
Supper: in Erickson/Brandon area

Monday:
breakfast: at accommodations
arrive back to Winnipeg before lunch

BUS TRIP REGISTRATION:

The total cost for the bus trip will be $540/person 

DEADLINES:

  • May 30, 2025 — Youth leader, pastor or church administrator should ensure that the following is submitted on behalf of each youth and leader registering:
    • Completed registration form (can be submitted online by youth/parent)
    • $50.00 deposit per youth and leader payable to MNO Synod **One cheque per congregation for the total is preferred**

Please also include a post-dated cheque, dated July 20, 2025 (total cost per youth & leader), which represents the balance paid in full. **One cheque per congregation for the total is preferred**

  • July 30, 2025 — All fees are non-refundable after July 30, 2025 aside from exceptional circumstances.
