Small Group Ministry provides congregations with a way to deepen relationships, form community, facilitate faith formation, and equip leaders. Small groups create space to welcome and engage those who may be unfamiliar or uncomfortable with traditional forms of church. Congregations with active small groups often experience deeper engagement in worship, generosity, outreach and service in the community.
The MNO Synod is seeking to equip and facilitate small group ministry in congregations. Season training sessions for leaders provide theological and practical foundation and tools for beginning or strengthening small groups. Resources that are curated for excellence and relevance eliminate a lot of work for leaders looking for materials. Ongoing support from synod staff and networking with other leaders expands and strengthens capacity and confidence.
