The Trinity Food Pantry (TFP) continued to operate during COVID, although some adjustments were necessary in an attempt to protect the safety and health of both recipients and volunteers. Monthly meals were discontinued, and masks were mandated for pickup. In-kind gifts like canned and boxed foods continued to be collected through drop-in donations. Using present funds, the hampers were enhanced to include fresh produce and high protein foods. In a desire to reconnect with clients and renew relationships, in June, clients will be offered refreshments and snacks on hamper day.
