SOGIE Training
This training is an important piece of our ability to serve God's diverse people. We have contracted with Morgan Stirling to provide a 1/2 day training that will be delivered in a hybrid format on the morning of Saturday Dec 2. Synod leaders (committee chairs, synod council members, synod staff) can register by contacting the synod office for the registration link.
Synod Convention–voting delegates orientation
May 9, 7:00 pm (Winnipeg): Online orientation session via Zoom for 1st time voting delegates. There will be an on-site orientation for those who arrive at the Convention site on Friday, but this online orientation will also be valuable for first-time voting delegates. Voting delegates received link to Zoom meeting in Convention Communications.

Tientcheu Djomgoue Marie Besong from Cameroon will be visiting the MNO Synod June 7-16 to build relationship, share in conversation and fellowship, and learn together. Pastor Marie will be sharing and visiting at a series of locations throughout her visit. Anyone is welcome to attend the events at congregations in Winnipeg. Pastor Marie is an ordained pastor from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cameroon (EELC), and is among the first scholarship recipients of the Hélène Ralivao Fund through Lutheran World Federation. She is pursuing doctoral studies in pastoral care and psychotherapy at the Martin [...]
