Easter Vigil Service
Zoom Wherever you are, CanadaA pre-recorded Easter Vigil service will be premiered on the MNO Synod YouTube channel on Saturday, April 16 at 5:00 p.m. This service is a collaboration of more than 15 congregations throughout the synod and includes contributions from more than 50 people. Plan on setting aside some time on Saturday to join with others and hear the stories and songs of our faith as a way of ushering in the Light of the Resurrection. St. Mark's Lutheran Church 600 Cambridge St., Winnipeg, Manitoba, CanadaPlease join us for the installation of Rev. Zsófi Schmiedge in to her role as Pastor of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Winnipeg. Clergy are invited to vest and process. The liturgical colour is white. This worship service will a hybrid service (in person and online) and will be available to stream through St. Mark's Lutheran's media platform.
World AIDS Day
Dec. 1 is a day set apart to pray for and raise awareness for those impacted by HIV/AIDS. The World Council of Churches provides a service of prayer for this day: https://www.oikoumene.org/resources/documents/world-aids-day-2022-order-of-prayer. We especially use this day to pray for the children and adults who are part of the Kids in Cameroon program in our global companion church in Cameroon.
