Faith in Context: Becoming Anti-Racist

The next Faith In Context Workshop will be on Saturday, Feb. 26 from 9:30-noon via Zoom. As part of Black History Month, Rev. Michael Blair–General Secretary of the General Council of the United Church of Canada–will guide discussion and reflection.  This workshop is encouraged as continuing education for clergy, and open to all who want to deepen their engagement with their faith as it connects to current realities.  Additional resources for learning and reflection related to Black History month will be provided soon. >>>Registration required<<<

Small Group Leader Training–Session III

The next session of Small Group Leader Training begins in March.  Training includes 6 sessions (1.5 hrs each) between March 8 and April 19, via Zoom. Sessions will be either Tuesday or Thursday evening, from 7:00-8:30 (determined by group preference during registration).  Participants will be invited to host a small group between April-June 2022.  Develop skills in leadership, group facilitation, faith formation and community building in conversation and collaboration with others. Easter Vigil Service

A pre-recorded Easter Vigil service will be premiered on the MNO Synod YouTube channel on Saturday, April 16 at 5:00 p.m.  This service is a collaboration of more than 15 congregations throughout the synod and includes contributions from more than 50 people.  Plan on setting aside some time on Saturday to join with others and hear the stories and songs of our faith as a way of ushering in the Light of the Resurrection.
